Maintenance of the fire-extinguishing systems and listed exhaust hoods containing a constant or fire-activated water system that is listed to extinguish a fire in the grease removal devices, hood exhaust, plenums, and exhaust ducts shall be made by properly trained, qualified, and certified person(s) acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction at least every 6 months.

E and S Hood Company offers a 6 month Kitchen Hood and Fire Suppression Inspection service. We follow a 37-point inspection that meets all NFPA requirements. All employees of E and S Hood Company are qualified and licensed through the State of Indiana.
Once the inspection is completed with E and S Hood Company, the report will be filed by us with the local Fire Marshall and will be recorded in our database. Once in our database, E and S Hood Company will follow up every 6 months when your system is due, eliminating the issues of your system ever becoming out dated.
